As a patient, there's nothing more important to me than making sure I fully understand my treatment plan and any information my doctor shares with me. That's why I believe it's so important for doctors to have their patients repeat back what they've heard in their own words - it gives us the opportunity to clarify anything we might have misunderstood, and it gives the doctor the chance to confirm or correct any miscommunications. It's a simple, yet crucial step in the process of making sure we're all on the same page. And let's not forget the importance of asking questions - it's essential for us to speak up and get the answers we need in order to make informed decisions about our health.
