The challenges we face are complex and multifaceted, requiring action at institutional and federal levels. Unfortunately, many decision-makers, including legislators and politicians, lack firsthand experience within healthcare settings and may not fully comprehend the intricacies of providing adequate patient care.
As healthcare professionals, it falls upon us to be the voice that represents our concerns and needs. We have firsthand knowledge of the issues at hand and understand the importance of ensuring quality patient care. By speaking up and advocating for our patients and our profession, we can bring attention to the critical matters that require action and drive positive change.
