The operating room is not what you see on TV. It's not just one person calling the shots, it's a team effort. Everyone plays an important role and works together towards the same goal. And with the culture of safety that we have now, anyone at any time can speak up and stop an operation if they detect something not safe.
It's not just the surgeon or anesthesiologist, even the person scrubbing the floor has a voice and can make a difference. There's real equality in the operating room, and it's important to recognize and appreciate the work of everyone involved in patient care.
