The tech world moves fast with a focus on innovation and failing fast, while the medical world is rooted in evidence and research that moves slowly to ensure patient safety. It may seem like these two worlds are at odds with each other, but there's so much to learn from finding a way to bridge the gap.
As someone who has worked in both tech and medicine, I believe it's crucial to include the user in the process. In the healthcare field, patient safety is of utmost importance, but we can still adopt some of the innovative thinking from tech. The tech world reminds us that the status quo is not always set in stone and there's room for change and improvement.
Let's work together to find a balance between innovation and safety, and bring the best of both worlds to the healthcare field.
