Our children have unwittingly been made part of a decades-long experiment involving social media and technology use. This ongoing experiment, conducted without adequate oversight, poses significant risks to their mental health and well-being. The lack of transparency from technology companies, coupled with limited access to relevant data, has hindered our understanding of the full extent of these impacts. It's crucial that we no longer allow this experiment to continue unchecked. Immediate intervention and oversight are imperative to safeguard the health of our children and the public at large. The well-being of our nation depends on it.
