I have become more patient with my patients. I take the time to sit and listen to them, noticing details I hadn't before. Recently, I had a patient who came in with a myocardial infarction. After performing a successful procedure, she shared with me that she is an athlete and has accomplished incredible feats. In the past, I might have simply acknowledged her athleticism, but this time, I asked her to elaborate. She told me she started running marathons at 56, and now participates in the Boston Marathon. She also revealed her passion for climbing in various locations out west. Her story is truly inspiring. #PatientCare #ActiveLifestyle #InspiringStories
