I still believe that this country is one of the best places to live in. We are incredibly fortunate and have opportunities that people in countries like Iran may not have. It's heartbreaking to see the persecution of young people who are fighting for basic rights that we take for granted. This is why we feel compelled to take action.
We've attended demonstrations and shared our story with others. As a professional, I strive to educate my students and raise awareness about the struggles of those in less fortunate circumstances. Even my family has contributed by going back to Iran to teach. We all have a part to play in creating a better world for everyone. #Gratitude #SocialJustice #Advocacy
