When you start talking to people who have been through similar experiences, whether you get a mentor or a coach, it helps you overcome your own obstacles. The pathway to success, especially for women physicians facing day-to-day challenges, becomes clearer. The most common complaints I hear include working in a toxic job, feeling misunderstood by a boss, or struggling with childcare issues. Many women also experience general unhappiness or a mid-career crisis, questioning if this is all they will do for the rest of their lives. Studies show that around seven to ten years after completing their training, women professionals often start to reevaluate their careers and life choices.
