The scrub hat is adorned with various icons inspired by Taylor Swift's songs, particularly from her recent album, "Midnights." For those well-versed in Swift's music, these symbols carry deeper meanings. Among these tracks, "Anti-Hero" resonates with me personally, featuring the line, "It's me! Hi! I'm the problem, it's me!"
In the operating room, where stereotypes may cast female surgeons as the issue, I've adopted this line as a playful mantra. It's evolved into a declaration: "It's me! Hi! I'm the surgeon. Seriously, it's me." Transforming this sentiment into a tangible form, I designed a unique print for my scrub hat, which was then crafted from fabric by a skilled artisan.
