The art of balancing surgery: Navigating the best interests of the patient #shorts

I know that surgery is much more than just operating. It's about building a relationship with the patient, gaining their trust, and carefully considering if surgery is the best option for their individual needs.

While it may be tempting to perform a procedure, it's equally important to be able to recognize when surgery is not the best choice. This requires a deep understanding of the indications for each procedure and the ability to have open and honest conversations with our patients about the risks and benefits of surgery.

It's our job to help guide our patients through the decision-making process, ensuring that their individual needs and best interests are always at the forefront. By taking a patient-centered approach to surgery, we can ensure that each procedure is performed with the utmost care and consideration.
