Patient empowerment is a crucial aspect of healthcare. It empowers patients to take an active role in their own care and make informed decisions. To me, patient empowerment means that patients are equipped with the knowledge and resources to be a central part of their healthcare team.
They don't just blindly follow the advice of their doctor or nurse, they understand their own health and are able to effectively communicate with their healthcare providers. This type of empowerment leads to better health outcomes and a more positive healthcare experience for patients.
