During my experience, I learned many surprising things about the disability process. One of the most shocking was discovering that my hospital policy did not cover work-related injuries. When I tried to file a claim, I was denied and told that I would have been better off if I had fallen off my bike. This was particularly concerning, given that my job involved ensuring the safety of both mother and child during childbirth. It was clear that if something had gone wrong due to my injury, the hospital would have had to spend millions on legal fees and settlements. This was just one of many eye-opening experiences that I had during this time. #DisabilityProcess #WorkRelatedInjuries #HealthcareSystem #LegalIssues #PatientSafety
