Our political leaders seem to have missed a crucial opportunity to learn from Covid. They've neglected the valuable lessons it could teach us. Imagine if they had embraced a more robust approach to prevention, or if they had mastered the art of communicating about vaccines and public health with finesse. It's important to note that our country spends a staggering $4 trillion on healthcare, but shockingly, a mere 3% goes towards public health and prevention. Let's not forget the age-old adage: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
