Why being trauma-informed is essential in healthcare #shorts

Every single person is impacted by trauma at some point in their life, including those working in the healthcare system. Being trauma-informed means understanding that people's behaviors, expressions, and communications are often informed by past traumatic experiences. Mislabeling trauma can hinder progress and prevent individuals from receiving proper care. Through a trauma-informed lens, we can become more compassionate and move forward in a more effective manner. Without it, we may find ourselves stuck, unable to make progress. #TraumaInformedCare #CompassionateCare #HealthcareSystem #MentalHealth #MovingForward
