When it comes to our changing health care system, I think it's important to have physicians' voices because a lot of times policymakers, they really don't have physicians’ best interest in mind, and a lot of the physician advocates, or sometimes they may not advocate for physicians who are currently practicing.
So I think it's important for every physician to use social media to really get their voice heard and let the public, and let legislatures know what's really going on behind closed doors, what's going on in the hospital, because these physicians on the ground, so to speak, they're the ones whose lives are going be affected by every single health reform decision.
